The Monroe County Arts Alliance is made up of community arts organizations throughout Monroe County, Illinois that are interested in uniting, networking and combining resources to promote the wide variety of arts activities that currently exist in the county, as well as to promote interest in creating new activities and events.

Organized in May of 2015, Arts Alliance members meet regularly to discuss ways to enhance and promote the arts to the general population of the county and to discuss ways to increase participation in existing programs.  The Alliance also hopes to build attendance at all arts functions and to periodically work together to produce a large-scale concert or theatrical event combining all community arts organizations.  The art forms represented by the Monroe County Arts Alliance include the performing arts such as music, theatre and dance, as well as the visual arts. Finally, the Arts Alliance hopes to be a resource for people who are looking for arts instruction either privately or in the public schools.
