Hometown Harmony

Hometown Harmony is a local invitation choir made up of many talented singers ages 18+ from Monroe County and the surrounding areas. The groups began in January, 2010 when sisters, Jody Matzenbacher & Sheri Jones wanted to share their love for music and singing. We sing in 4-part harmony as well as solos, duets, and small ensembles. To prepare for our concerts, we practice 12 weeks in the fall and 12 weeks in the spring. We have many talented folks in Monroe County that volunteer their time to sing, direct, and accompany the choir.

We entertain Monroe County twice per year with a themed concert in the spring and a Christmas concert in the winter. Our shows are a fun-filled variety of songs and a very entertaining emcee! In the past, we’ve performed a wide variety of themed concerts including Old Time Religion, Patriotic/Folk, Classic Country, 50’s/60’s, TV/Movie Classics and Summer Fun! One of our concert-goers has described it as “a little taste of Branson in Monroe County”. Hometown Harmony has a lot of fun and a passion for singing!

If you have a passion for singing in 4-part harmony, we’d love to hear from you!!! Looking for talented sopranos, altos, tenors and basses. No auditions. $10 dues each season.

Membership Fee: $10 dues each season
