Maeystown Plein Air Paint Out

If you love to paint in the outdoors/plein air style, come to the village of Maeystown, IL, on Saturday, June 6 for the annual Plein Air Paint Out. The village welcomes artists to paint in the natural beauty of this village which is on the National Register of Historic Places in its entirety. This is a non-competitive event and charges no entry fee. Registration will be from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the Preservation Society Mill and Museum. The event ends at 2:30 p.m. Artists are encouraged to email [email protected] to pre-register by Wednesday, June 3. Everyone is invited to attend the event to watch the artists create. All shops and the restaurant will be open to the public on that day from 10a.m.-4p.m. See you there!
