ARTS IN THE PARK

Join the Monroe County Arts Alliance, the Dorothy Weinel Eppinger Foundation, and the City of Columbia, IL as we celebrate our third annual ARTS IN THE PARK festival on Sunday, June 14. This events celebrates all of the arts–visual and performing–in one glorious event. The event takes place in Columbia’s beautiful Metter Park from 11a.m to 6p.m. The 2026 event features a SAND CASTLE ARTIST, made possible through a grant from Arts Midwest, who will be building a sand castle–here in the Midwest!—throughout the day. Other features include artist vendor booths showcasing and selling their work, performances by organization members of the Arts Alliance throughout the day, a creative arts area for children, a display of Monroe County High School student art work in the bandstand, and of course food vendors with delicious fare.
