The final performance of the musical THE FLOOD will open at the Capitol Theater in Waterloo at 2:30p.m. This riveting story relates many of the experiences of Valmeyer and Monroe County during the flood of 1993. Set in a fictional town called Meyerville, the music tells of the many emotions, struggles and triumphs that evolved from the natural disaster. The large cast is directed by Amber Dillard with music direction by Marcia Braswell. The production has been designated as an official ILLINOIS BICENTENNIAL EVENT.
