Physical Communication in Acting for Middle School Students

Physical Communication in Acting will be presented by well known actor, director and choreographer Chris Kernan of St Louis. This is an online workshop sponsored by Monroe Actors Stage Company and partially funded by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council. Mr Kernan has performed across the Midwest in regional, semi-professional and professional theatres and has taught at SIUE Summer Theatre Camp, Stage Play Learning , Little Theatre on the Square and Alfredo Sprouts. This workshop will focus on the use of physicality and movement in acting. The online session is for MIDDLE SCHOOL students entering grades 5-9 in the fall. There is no fee required, but all registrations must be completed by Friday, July 10. To register, email Ellen Heavner at eheavn@yahoo.com and include your name, grade in school, email address, and the name of the workshop(s) being registered for. A confirmation email will be sent.
