A group of 36 singers composed of members of the Monroe County Arts Alliance organizations will perform in a concert version of the musical THE FLOOD at the Times Center in New York City. The Monroe County group will be performing with New York actors/singers in a benefit performance to raise money for Puerto Rico hurricane victims. The New York concert performance will be led by the composer Peter Mills and produced by the show’s author, Cara Reichel. Mills and Reichel are the founders of the Prospect Theater Company. THE FLOOD is a fictional story based on the experience of Valmeyer during the 1993 flood. The performance is open to the public. Tickets are available at www.prospecttheatre.org.
